Since more than 30 years Geras is well known for teaching art and production on an international level. Our focus is the individual because we think that each and every one has the right to receive individual sponsorship and guidance. Detached from daily and work routine, Geras gives best conditions to work intensive in a short but continuous period.
Embedded into an inspiring landscape of Eastern Waldviertel, the Academy of Art has its domicilie in the new building of the Monastery Geras and the overall refurbished Meierhof.

Since the working studios are located in the midst of the renovated buildings of the Monastery a special ambiance arises: enlived creativity, artisitic development gets unfolded.
